I’ve been MIA, end of school, IEP, and such.
Little one is still up, almost 2 am. Thankfully I am a night owl.

“time for tubby-tub time” over and over, for the last 30 minutes. Haven’t decided yet whether I think it’s cute…or annoying!
Hopefully, “time for tubby-tub time” will translate into beddy-bed time real soon!

Waiting in the line to pick up her big sis, my little artist has been making pics on her magna foodle. Beautiful caterpillars & trees & windows. Loving my aut show!

It’s just about 5 am here. we’ve been up since 3:45. I didn’t go to sleep until 1 or so, that was a bad move. I can barely keep my eyes open. Bring on the coffee.
I hope this is
not a sign of things to come. From about a year, our daughter had horrible sleep, up most nights for hours. This went on until she was put on seizure meds. Her levels are fine, but sleep issues have crept back the last 2 weeks. Hopefully it is a phase that will pass quickly. Better get the caffeine & toothpicks for my eyes ready.

Little one is being a cat. Thankfully the ‘cat’ eats baby carrots, Gogurt too. Best meal in days, hopefully the kitty cat sticks around!

Last night, we attended an open house my daughters’ school. I was proud of both of my girls and the work they had on display. I have to say, it was especially sweet to see my youngest in her room, with her pals, all of them together-truly the joy of autism in motion!

We leave for a short 2 day trip tomorrow. Fingers crossed it will go okay. Loud meltdowns not always welcome at hotels! As hard as most every transition is for my daughter, she has a passion for hotels. Looking forward to some time away, hope it is fun for all!

I am sitting watching the therapist applaud my little one for slurping yogurt. SLURP! It’s rather entertaining. Trying to improve oral motor & expand foods.

My daughter wants “soft pancakes” for dinner. I think she says this so I don’t make waffels. It always makes me smile. The task then becomes picking out only the frozen pancakes that don’t have holes, that’s quite a challenge! Ones with holes will be loudly refused!
Glad Monday is coming to an end, it was a rough one for my girl.
